About Event

Join your Boston area colleagues at this wicked awesome storytelling workshop designed for learning professionals.

Most professionals know that stories are powerful. Very few have a system for building them. This workshop gives you one. This workshop is a hands-on experience for anyone who communicates at work, whether you're designing learning, leading a team, advocating for a program, or trying to move people toward change.

You'll leave with a practical framework and a story you've actually built.

We start with the science. Narratives activate multiple brain regions that shape attention, emotion, and social connection. Understanding why stories work changes how you design and deliver them.

Then we get to work. You'll define the impact you're after, build the architecture of a story that earns it, and draft something you can use.

What you'll walk away with:

  • A framework for scoping a story, its structure, and its purpose.

  • A one-sentence impact statement for a real story you're working on.

  • A minimum viable storyboard you can test and iterate.

  • Practical delivery choices for adapting stories to different workplace contexts.

This is not a lecture on storytelling theory.

It's a practical working session.
