​Tuan Jones

​Tuan Jones is an artist, designer and Chicago native. Tuan’s practice combines a rare style of abstract and figurative art. His natural ability to shift between narrative themes of urban life and religious values through the use of circles along with his signature red dots makes his work notably unique in the art world.

​Rare Bandy

​Bandy Lee is an Detroit-based artist from Inkster, MI, known internationally for reshaping fine art through bold illustration and character-driven storytelling. His work spans painting, streetwear, décor, digital art, and installations featuring original characters like Rarie Panther, Puma, and Saki Love Blossom. A pioneer in Web3, he became one of the first Black artists to sell out a generative NFT collection (Rare Panthers NFT) twice, gaining global acclaim. Guided by his mantra “Creating freely with love,” Bandy continues to redefine contemporary art and culture.

​About EDEN Exhibition

​Over the course of the RAREBANDY Artist Residency at BANDYLAND Studios. Tuan Jones and Bandy Lee have immersed themselves in an exchange of knowledge, technical ability, and creating an environment built on mutual respect and experimentation. The program encourages both artists to expand their practices; exploring new materials, digital tools, and storytelling forms that bridge fine art, design, fashion, and cultural commentary.

​For Jones, whose art often reflects identity and spiritual elevation, the residency offers space to deepen his process while collaborating within Detroit’s creative ecosystem. For Bandy, the founder of BANDYLAND and a pioneer in character-driven art and storytelling, the partnership represents a continuation of his mission to nurture culture through collaboration and peer mentorship.

​Building Toward “EDEN”

​The culmination of their residency, EDEN, will present a vivid dialogue between two worlds — Jones’s layered spiritual motifs and Bandy’s pop-surrealist narratives. Together, they envision a shared world that reimagines paradise through the lens of culture, resilience, and rebirth.
