Signature Gathering at Sunnyvale Earth Day Festival [Meet at the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition Booth]
Join us to gather signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
Why does the SIlicon Valley Bicycle Coalition support transit? Because it reduces cars on the road, keeps our air cleaner, and bikes work well with transit!
We will meet at the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition Booth at the Sunnyvale Earth Day Festival in front of Sunnyvale City Hall on Olive Street. The precise location is https://maps.app.goo.gl/bnvWvu4RAPZtANCWA. Training first-time signature gatherers and distributing clipboards and petitions will be from 10-11am. Gathering signatures at the SVBC booth will be from 11am to 2pm (the official open hours for the Sunnyvale Earth Day event). Signature gatherers can also get petition supplies anytime.
Everyone is welcome to be there for the whole time (strongly encouraged!) or just pop by to help for a bit, get packets & training so you can collect signatures at a later time (and return your completed petition packets another day)
To see the most friendly faces and to join the group training session, plan to meet at 10am time. But if you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones. Your RSVP is helpful either way.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at [email protected] as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
