About Event

Build your mask, find your pack

You came to EthCC because you believe in what Ethereum is supposed to be. Not the ETFs. Not the pitch decks. The thing underneath: permissionless systems, self-sovereign identity, code that doesn't ask for approval.

We're gathering the people who still build like that.

  • What: An (E)therian meetup: part workshop, part apero, part pack formation.

  • When: April 1, 2026. 5pm.

  • Where: Blossom Hacker House, Cannes. Hosted by Blossom Labs.

  • Bring: Yourself. We provide the rest.

The evening

Make your mask.

We'll have materials: paper, paint, feathers, fur, wire, whatever you need. You build the face you actually want to wear. Use the templates and instructions only if you want. The mask is yours.

The cypherpunks have pseudonyms. The therians have theriotypes. The Ethereans have wallet addresses. All of them are ways of saying: I choose what I reveal. Your mask is the physical version of that.

Goûter à la française.

This is the south of France. The table will have what it should: sparkling water and fresh juices, citronnade, olives, cheese, charcuterie, the good bread, a tarte or two.

The kind of afternoon spread where you actually talk to people instead of scanning their badge.

Show your kill.

Five minutes. No slides required. Show what you're building — a contract, a tool, a protocol, a hack, something broken that almost works. Lightning demos from builders, for builders.

If it needs a 30-minute pitch to make sense, it's not ready. If you can show it in five, you're one of us. Slots are limited, claim yours when you RSVP.

Meet your pack.

This is for builders — people writing code, deploying contracts, making things that don't need permission. If you've heard the call and felt something, come. If you're tired of conferences where nothing is real, come anyway.

Why

EthCC used to be the community conference. Now tickets are 500€ and the floor belongs to established projects. That's fine. We're here for everyone else.

The next thing doesn't come from the mainstage. It comes from the person who showed up anyway — who has something working but no deck, who feels slightly out of place at EthCC and is starting to wonder if they belong here at all.

You do. This is for you.

Those people are hard to find in a crowd. This is how we find each other.

A mask-making workshop during a crypto conference is either the strangest thing you've done this year or the most honest. We think it's both.

Hosted by Blossom Labs

Blossom Labs is a small team that builds infrastructure for communities that coordinate without asking permission. DAO tooling, cross-chain plumbing, the unglamorous stuff that makes decentralization actually work: EVMcrispr, Octocash, ENS Wayback Machine, GovernorHaus, CouncilHaus, and more.

They're hosting this because it's what they do: create the conditions for people to find each other and build together. The house, the table, and the belief that the best things get built when builders are in the same room.

Researching emergence. All we do, we do it with love.
