Ascend @ UofC ICT 114 - Season 2 Session #2

​What is Ascend?

​Ascend is a space for Calgary’s youth to explore their curiosity and turn ideas into action. Held weekly at House 831, it’s a dedicated time to work on passion projects—whether it’s developing software, producing music, designing the most insane 3d graphics, or trying something completely new.

​What Happens at Ascend?

​Ascend is Calgary’s weekly co-working session for youth from UCalgary, MRU, SAIT, BVC, and beyond. It’s a place to dedicate time to your personal projects and connect with like-minded peers.

• ​12:10 PM: Begin with a quick intro to share your goals and inspirations.

• ​12:15 PM: Dive into a 50-minute deep work session to focus on your project.

• ​1:05 PM: Recharge with a 10-minute break.

• ​1:15 PM: Continue with a second 50-minute deep work session.

• ​2:15 PM: Wrap up with demos to showcase your work and reflect on what you’ve learned.

• ​3:00 PM: Finish—leave inspired or stick around to connect further!
