About Event

Join Earth Era Institute for the launch of Climate Cinema Club, a new community gathering that brings together film lovers, nature enthusiasts, artists, and dreamers for screenings that spark reflection, conversation, and connection.

This special opening event features Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and F*ck the Lawn, two films that invite us to rethink our relationship with nature, community, and the futures we want to build. From visionary storytelling to grounded environmental action, the program balances imagination and practicality, creating space to engage with climate themes through film in a way that feels thoughtful, inspiring, and communal.

More than just a movie night, this event is the beginning of a local cinema and climate community through Earth Era Institute, a space where people can bond over movies, ideas, and cultural experiences that help us feel more connected to one another and to the planet. Whether you are deeply involved in climate work, passionate about film, or simply curious to be in community, this gathering is for you. Come settle in for an afternoon of film, conversation, and collective imagination as we explore how storytelling can move us toward a more just, beautiful, and regenerative world.

Please note that seating is limited, on a first-come, first-served basis, and we can’t guarantee a seat for everyone.
