10th San Diego Hardware Meetup | The Road to Scale: San Diego's Zero-to-One Hardware Story
We're back for another Hardware Meetup, the location is at Pure Project Vista! Mmm tasty.
Building hardware is tough, but it doesn’t have to be lonely. San Diego has an incredible local ecosystem to support the full hardware lifecycle, and a welcoming technical community eager to lift up it’s own. For this month’s Hardware Meetup we’re bringing together a stacked panel to kickstart a conversation on making and scaling physical products right here in SD.
Together, we'll walk the full journey from ideation, design, funding, prototyping, and production. You’ll meet:
-A local product founder to share the gritty realities of getting to market
-An industrial design firm to talk about moving from concept to prototype
-A manufacturing partner and this month’s sponsor—SEACOMP— to discuss how they help brands cross the bridge from a concept to scaled manufacturing across North America and beyond.
-Technical folks from the community excited to get to know people just like yourself!
Thank you, SEACOMP!
Community Note: We've moved the dedicated nearshoring edition to later this year. Nearshoring will still be part of the discussion at this event, but within a broader conversation on building and scaling hardware companies in SD.
