Circular Economy Cluster Kick-Off: The Regulation Reshaping Everything
Please join us for the launch of our recurring Circular Economy Cluster meetup at 9Zero: a space for those redesigning how we produce, consume, and recover, from materials and waste to policy, business models, and beyond.
This session dives into EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility), and why it matters now. California is leading the charge, and the rules are changing fast. SB 54 mandates that by 2032, single-use plastic packaging be dramatically reduced and made recyclable or compostable, shifting costs onto producers. SB 707, the Responsible Textile Recovery Act, goes even further. It's the first US law holding fashion brands accountable for the full lifecycle of what they sell, with producer registration now mandatory as of July 1, 2026 through Landbell, California's designated Producer Responsibility Organization.
If you're working in or curious about the circular economy space, this is the place to be.
