Artist Talk - Resonance Tree

Sneak a peek at the art headed to the playa!

This piece will be on Black Rock City's 2026 playa, and you can experience it with the artist right here in BurnerSphere first. Step into a living sculpture, Resonance Tree, a sanctuary woven from bamboo, built to call us home. This August we're bringing it in as a full 3D model you can walk through and explore together.

Rising seven meters tall and made entirely of bamboo, a fast growing, renewable material, the Tree is a piece about sustainability as much as it is about art. By day its canopy filters the sun, by night the trunk glows from within, powered by solar lights that shift with the wind.

Join us for a conversation with the artist behind the piece, hearing directly from them about the vision, the build, and what it means to create a living, breathing structure meant to hold community. Come wander the model, ask questions, and connect with the story behind the wood.

📅 August 4th, 6:00-7:30pm PT
📍 Inside BurnerSphere, RSVP to receive download link.
