DMINTI, the Nassima Foundation, and ICA Miami are pleased to present Klaus Biesenbach in conversation with Friedrich Kunath on the occasion of the exhibition I’ll Romanticize This Later, opening on December 1 and on view through January 22 at ICA Miami’s expansion space.
The event will take place on December 1 at 11 AM ET during Art Basel Miami Beach 2026. The conversation will center on Friedrich Kunath’s longstanding engagement with German Romanticism and the influence of Caspar David Friedrich on his work. The dialogue will explore how themes such as landscape, melancholy, and the sublime are reflected and interpreted in Kunath’s contemporary practice, alongside the influence of American popular culture.
