​Join OnSolo × GenART NYU for a hands-on workshop exploring how AI is changing the way short-form stories are developed and produced.

​OnSolo is Tencent’s AI-native creative platform for video, short drama, animation, and interactive storytelling. During this workshop, the OnSolo team will introduce the platform, walk through its AI-powered storytelling workflow, and guide participants through creating with the tool themselves.

​Rather than a hackathon, this session is designed as an accessible guided creative workshop. You can come with an idea—or start from scratch—and experiment with developing a story concept, characters, visual direction, and scenes using OnSolo.

​See how an initial story idea can move through character development, visual exploration, scene generation, and video creation within one workflow.

​Try OnSolo yourself with guidance from the team. Develop a short-drama concept, character, scene, or visual sequence while learning practical AI storytelling techniques.

​Creator Q&A

​Talk directly with the OnSolo team about AI filmmaking workflows, creative decisions, short-form storytelling, and where AI-native production is heading.

​Continue Beyond the Workshop

​Participants who want to take their project further can also enter the OnSolo × ReelShort Global Short Drama Creator Awards, currently open to creators worldwide.

​The competition features a $200,000 cash prize pool, including a $100,000 Grand Prize, alongside creator credits, platform exposure, and potential distribution and long-term creator opportunities.

​There is no requirement to complete a competition submission during the workshop. The event is designed to help you learn the platform, experiment with the workflow, and leave with something you can continue developing afterward.
