Reimagine Your Academic Impact with Lean Canvas

Sac State faculty are innovators every day. You design new courses, launch research initiatives, build community partnerships, and test bold ideas.

Now it’s time to apply a proven innovation framework to amplify that impact.

Join us for a highly interactive, hands-on workshop where you’ll apply Lean Canvas to your teaching, research, or service work — and leave with a concrete pilot experiment ready to launch.

LOCATION: Sac State University Library, Faculty Seminar Room, Lib 1522

During this hands-on session, participants will:

Learn Lean Canvas by doing — working through the framework in real time
Translate Lean Canvas into teaching, research, and service contexts
Leave with a concrete pilot experiment plan ready for implementation

Participants may choose one of two Innovation Tracks aligned with their goals:

🔬 Research Track – Strengthen impact and funding leverage by clarifying your problem, stakeholders, and value proposition.

📚 Education Track – Explore learner demand, engagement, and scalable course or program innovation.

Participants are also invited to a follow-up Lean Canvas Clinic to share progress, receive feedback, and discuss early results.
