​​Dr. Nellie Deutsch (Ed.D) is a Canadian educator, researcher, and global trainer with over 40 years of experience in teaching English as a second/foreign language. She is also an experienced English for Science and Technology (EST) teacher, with a deep understanding of the challenges researchers face when writing in academic English.

​​Dr. Nellie is the founder of Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning and has trained over 100,000 educators worldwide on using technology and AI in research and education.

​​Dr. Deutsch currently teaches in the IMT MSc program in Immersive Technologies and volunteers with TESOL International as Past Chair of CALL-IS. She is passionate about helping researchers around the world communicate their ideas with confidence and clarity.
