About the session
This flamenco workshop offers a welcoming introduction to the technique and artistry of the form, open to participants of all levels.
Together, we will explore the foundations of flamenco, including expressive arm movements, percussive footwork, and rhythm. Participants will learn a short choreography while connecting with the musicality, energy, and emotional depth that define the tradition.
This is a participatory, embodied session designed to invite curiosity, creativity, and connection through movement.
What to expect
A guided, hands on workshop where you will learn core elements of flamenco and build toward a simple group sequence. No prior experience is needed.

This session is open to anyone interested in movement, music, and cultural expression, whether you are completely new to flamenco or have prior dance experience.

Location & access
The House of Creativity is located at Fusion Arts, 15 Park End Street, OX1 1HH. It is a 5 minute walk from Oxford Train Station, next to the Royal Hotel Oxford and Olive Branch Cafe.
Access: The entrance to 15 Park End Street is step free. The closest accessible toilets are in the nearby cafes.
