Build Your Own AI Agent — Live, in One Hour
OpenClaw just passed 250,000 GitHub stars in 60 days. It's the fastest-growing open-source project in history — and most people still haven't touched it.
That changes today.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll log into a fully hosted OpenClaw environment (no setup, no Docker, no "it works on my machine"), connect it to your phone, and walk out with a working personal AI assistant that actually does things — not just talks about them.
What you'll build: You'll deploy a personal AI agent connected to Telegram that responds to your messages, takes real-world actions, and remembers who you are. By the end of the session, your agent will be live and running — on infrastructure that doesn't disappear when you close your laptop.
What you'll learn: How OpenClaw is structured. How the Heartbeat loop gives your agent autonomy. How to customize your agent's personality and connect it to external tools. And a clear roadmap for where to take it next — whether that's automating your business workflows, wiring up your smart home, or building something nobody's thought of yet.
What you need to bring: A laptop and a Telegram account. That's it. We're providing a hosted environment on Codiac so you skip straight to the good part.
Who this is for: Developers, founders, ops people, the AI-curious — anyone who wants to stop watching demos and start building. No prior experience with OpenClaw or AI agents required.
Presented by the Cursor Meetup and Houston AI Club.
