A warm and welcoming community for professionals and founders in biopharma, life sciences, and health tech in Cambridge! Here, we invite you to join us for an informal and friendly gathering where connections are made, knowledge is shared, and friendships are formed. Come with an open heart and a willingness to “listen” rather than “sell.” 👈🏽
Picture this as more than just an event - it’s a community gathering. Our focus is on providing you with an opportunity to meet fellow professionals and founders in a relaxed and amiable environment. We’ll share conversations over delicious food and drinks, and leave with a sense of excitement and a pocketful of new contacts and ideas.
For this event we are trying something different. We are joining forces with the amazing humans at Women in Pharma and The Sex Factor to bring to you an exclusive screenting of the short film Taboo - The unspoken truth about women's health. After the screening we will be joined by Miriam Kenrick (Co-Founder of Women in Pharma and The Sex Factor) and Helen Lambert the film producer and director in conversation to have an open and candid discusion about women's health and how we can champion the next frontier in personalised medicine.
Thanks to the kind support of our hosts and sponsors Prologis we will be at Cambridge Biomedical Campus, 1000 Discovery Drive, an evening surrounded by incredible people, and let’s make it a night to remember. Looking forward to sharing good company and creating memorable connections!
The format of the night:
18:00 Doors open – drinks, networking and meeting great people.
18:30 Taboo screening and Discussion with Helen Lambert (film producer and director), and Miriam Kenrick (Women in Pharma).
19:30 Drinks, food and networking. 🍕🍷🍻
21:00 End of the night – you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas.
Venue:Cambridge Biomedical Campus - 1000 Discovery Drive, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 0AX. Easiest way to get here is using either public transport (check out the new Cambridge South train station!), or cycling. If you are coming by car, the closest car park at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus is Car park 2 (Robinson Way, Hills Rd, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 0QQ) which is only a 5 min walk to the venue.

This is a ticketed event. Food and drinks for the night included.
Please let your colleagues and industry friends know about us, we hope to build it into a great resource for the ecosystem over the coming months and years. Attendance will be taken at this event. If you register but don’t show up, this has a knock on effect on event arrangements. If it happens 3 times, we may need to reconsider your participation. This is simply a measure to allow appropriate respect to the organisers, speakers, sponsors, and your fellow Conexers.
