About Event

How can we work together to strengthen the recognition of culture in climate policy?

Join the Culture at COP31 and the Entertainment + Culture Pavilion for a virtual training to prepare the Cultural Delegation for coordinated advocacy at COP31. This session will help participants connect their experience with relevant climate negotiations, develop shared messages and identify practical ways to engage with government delegates, partners and wider audiences.

Tuesday, 27 October 2026 | 14:30–15:30 CET | Online

Together, we will explore:

  • Advocacy priorities: Where culture connects with discussions on adaptation, mitigation, just transition, finance, loss and damage, technology, capacity-building and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE).

  • Using the Culture Global Stocktake: How to draw on the CGST to inform advocacy messages, policy recommendations and engagement at COP31.

  • Putting advocacy into practice: Following negotiations, sharing updates, engaging with Parties and bringing cultural perspectives into events, media and campaigns.

  • Delegation coordination: Aligning interests, identifying roles and organising communication before and during the conference.

Who is this session for?

Cultural practitioners, youth advocates, researchers, storytellers and partners planning to attend COP31 in person in Antalya, preferably with Blue Zone accreditation, who are interested in following negotiations and contributing to collective advocacy. Participants with different levels of policy experience are welcome.

The CGST will serve as a shared advocacy tool. Joining the delegation does not imply full endorsement, but participants are strongly encouraged to engage with its outcomes and identify areas of alignment to strengthen our collective efforts.

Please also complete the Culture at COP31 form to connect with wider campaign coordination.

Register to help shape a coordinated cultural voice at COP31.
