About Event

YG Build Club is a Saturday third space for people with ideas they are tired of postponing.

What kills most ideas?

Someday.

Most people don’t fail because they lack talent. They fail because they try to build alone.

Build Club is a weekly space to bring your project, practice, channel, business, experiment, or the thing you keep talking yourself out of. You’ll build beside ambitious people, share what you’re working on, and leave each week with more clarity, more momentum, and something real to show.

This is idea-first, not tech-first. You do not need to be building an app, startup, AI tool, or software product to join.

Bring the thing you care about.
Bring the thing you keep delaying.
Bring the thing you want to finally make real.

Who it’s for:

  • Artists building serious work

  • Creators launching YouTube, podcasts, or media projects

  • Founders testing business ideas

  • Designers, makers, and community builders

  • Anyone with an idea they are tired of postponing

This Saturday we've got a guest. Andrii Mazur. Designer and creative director who's spent his time building brands for YC startups and dozens of VC-backed companies in the AI space. He's doing a 15-minute session on how good logos are actually made, live in Figma.

If you've ever looked at a logo and thought "why does that one work and mine doesn't," this is the session.

Rest of Build Club is the same format: bring your project, build alongside the room, share what you shipped at the end.

Saturday Format:

  • 10:00 to 10:15 AM, Intro and housekeeping

  • 10:15 AM to 12:45 PM, Deep build session

  • 12:45 to 1:00 PM, Showcase and accountability close

Season 1 entry requirement:

Bring one idea you care about and commit to showing up weekly.

Young Guns Studio is a Vancouver-based art and design institute focused on training original thinking and cultivating agency. For 18 years, YG has helped ambitious students turn curiosity into direction, with 900+ top-school acceptances and $10M+ in scholarships.

Bring the project you keep postponing. Build it with us on Saturdays.
