Overview
As Lenses releases its MCP server, enabling AI engineers to harness real-time streaming data, we invite you to:
Form teams, max size of 3 people. No problem if you're attending alone. We'll help match you with others at the event.
Build an AI product that uses real-time data from Apache Kafka. It has to solve a practical challenge for a financial use case.
Harness the power of Lenses to simplify working with streaming data and Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK).
Build an AI solution on AWS cloud infrastructure with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
Help is on hand from the experts in attendance from AWS and Lenses.
Demo your prototype at the end of the day, with prizes from the judges for the most impactful creative projects.
If you're passionate about challenges in the finance industry, AI agents, data streaming and real-time products, this is your chance to learn, experiment and bring your ideas to life!
Lunch is provided and a cocktail at the end of the hackathon with special prizes for the winners.
All attendees must be registered and approved on Luma. To enter the building, a valid photo ID will be required (physical ID please; no digital IDs will be accepted).
Who should join?
Hackers in all forms: software engineers, platform engineers, data engineers, AI engineers and anyone curious about building AI applications with streaming data and cloud technologies. We will be prioritising registrants who can code, unless they are in a team.
Prerequisites are knowledge of Apache Kafka and AWS cloud. You will need your own AWS account and LLM provider account (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc) to use the Lenses MCP server. Teams will each receive a Lenses API key.
