Moderator

  • Matt Rappaport (Berkeley Gateway Accelerator): Matt is the Managing General Partner at the Berkeley Gateway Accelerator and Co-Founder of the UC Berkeley Deep Tech Innovation Lab. He specializes in bridging deep tech commercialization, intellectual property strategy, and venture capital.

Panelists

  • Stephen McKinley (Ambi Robotics): Stephen is the Co-Founder and COO of Berkeley-based Ambi Robotics, where he focuses on AI-powered supply chain solutions and machine dexterity.

  • Ben Fong (Berkeley SkyDeck): Ben serves as the Head of Business Development at Berkeley SkyDeck. He leverages a background in corporate innovation and diplomacy to help early-stage startups scale globally.

  • Joseph S. Spence, II (Human+Tech Week): Joseph is the co-convener of Human+Tech Week. His work promotes human-centered AI adoption, ecosystem collaboration, and technological ethical standards. He is also the Chief Investment Officer at NativelyAI.
