📢 Speaker's Background

Joseph Chen, PHD, VP of Global Supply Chain Management, Chain Reaction

Joseph is currently the Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management at Chain Reaction, an Israeli fabless IC design startup working on ASIC processors for the future of disruptive blockchain and encrypted AI computing technologies.

Joseph holds more than 20 years of professional expertise in both semiconductor logic and memory industries. He started his career as a process integration engineer for NAND Flash memory in SPANSION and delved further into the emerging memory technologies in Applied Materials (AMAT), where he served as a senior technologist and global product marketing manager responsible for the MRAM Etch business. After AMAT, he joined PDF Solutions, where he provided professional consultancy on wafer yield enhancement to leading semiconductor foundries. This role expanded his career spectrum into logic technologies and led to his appointment as a technical and business manager at TSMC, before his joining Chain Reaction.

Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University in Taiwan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in California.
