Northeast Regional Fleet Electrification Roundtable on Clean Corridor Coalition
Join us for a focused convening of the Northeast Regional Fleet Electrification Task Force at the Port of NJ and NY.
The Challenge
Our mission is to overcome the critical obstacle identified by regional leaders: the urgent need for cost-effective, future-proofed charging infrastructure near key freight corridors, specifically targeting the I-95 Northeast corridor from Maryland to Connecticut.
Infrastructure deployment remains hindered by slow interconnection processes, complex permitting, and inconsistent technical standards. This convening will address these barriers head-on to ensure heavy-duty and mixed fleets can meet their electrification timelines.
Our 90-Day Mission
The primary goal of this convening is to facilitate the best possible proposals in response to upcoming Clean Corridor Coalition /(C3) Program funding opportunities by aligning key stakeholders—including project developers, utilities, and public/private leaders—to help resolve systemic "bottleneck" issues, and identify ways the C3 Program can facilitate effective deployment of projects, including:
Streamlining Permitting & Procurement: Reducing the administrative friction that slows down deployment cycles.
Site Qualification & Selection: Identifying pre-qualified sites and assessing host capacity for high-power charging.
Technical & Workforce Readiness: Addressing supply chain constraints, OEM commitments, and the need for skilled labor to install and maintain systems.
Why Participate?
This is a collaborative space for leaders committed to transparency and measurable progress. By participating, you will help design a structured pathway for fleets to engage with utilities and OEMs, building the foundation for a cleaner, more resilient transportation future in the Northeast.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Port of New York and New Jersey’s 2026 Sustainability Summit. You can register for that event, which is being held at by clicking here.
