About Event

Sudowrite offers several built-in outline types, but when it comes to romance, you may find yourself thinking, “Why doesn’t this follow the emotional beats I actually want?”

Good news. It can. Sudowrite’s Outline section supports Custom Outline types—you just need to know how to shape them so your romance feels intentional, not generic. That’s what this session is for.

This month, we’ll focus on building a strong romance outline framework that captures the emotional arc between characters—not just plot points. You’ll learn how to translate key romantic beats—attraction, tension, conflict, separation, and payoff—into clear, usable prompts so Sudowrite generates a story that feels emotionally real instead of drifting into flat, predictable structure.

We’ll work hands-on with the craft of prompting: how to guide chemistry between characters, control pacing of the relationship, and adjust tone depending on your subgenre (sweet, dark, YA, spicy, etc.). You’ll also learn how to create reusable outline templates that keep your romance stories consistent, engaging, and aligned with reader expectations.

By the end, you’ll leave with a straightforward method for building Custom Romance Outlines, at least one fully structured romance framework you can reuse, and an outline you can apply to a current or new project—plus a repeatable process for refining emotional beats across future stories or series.

This is a good fit if your romance feels flat or rushed, if you want stronger emotional tension and payoff, if you’re tired of “AI-bland” love stories, or if you’re building a series and need a consistent, repeatable way to develop compelling romantic arcs.
