The Seattle AI Film Festival, Machine Cinema, Tenacious Ventures and Thinkspace invite you to a Gen Jam AI film hack on Wednesday, June 18 (4pm–9pm) at Thinkspace South Lake Union. The world's greatest sporting event will be in our city. We're making something worthy of the moment. ⚽
You will have five hours to build a 1–5 minute AI film, music video, or interactive prototype that captures what futbol means to the world. Not the teams or stats. Not the brackets. We want the FEELING. We want the roar of a crowd. We want the curl of a shot on goal. We want the thump of stamping feet. We want a stadium holding its breath for a penalty kick. Most of all, we want people erupting as one when magic happens on the pitch.

We're organizing a curated AI jam session for creators and solution builders. We're capping participation at 60 people. We're selecting for passion about sports plus technical craft, tool depth, and creative range. We want editors. We want script writers. Visual artists. AI workflow designers. ComfyUI and other node specialists. Musicians and audio pros. Most of all, we want talented people who love to collaborate and get messy with the tools.

🛠 What You'll Do
Brainstorm & Conceptualize Team up with 2–4 collaborators on-site to develop a short film, music video or interactive experience that's narratively rooted in futbol and what it means to people. Think cinematic, emotional, unexpected. We'll also have 2 sample stories you can bring to life if you want.
Build with the Best Tools Available You'll work with a curated stack of advanced AI filmmaking, music, and image tools. We'll give you access codes. Bring your own tools. The goal is to push what's possible in a single session.
Create & Edit Generate, direct, score, and cut your piece in a few intense hours. This is machine cinema at full speed.
Screen & Celebrate Every team screens their work for the full group on June 18. Participant votes on WhatsApp determine the top three projects. These teams will be invited to continue working on their projects for complementary submission to the Seattle AI Film Festival (SAIFF) on August 29-30. NOTE: SAIFF reserves the right to judge the final submission according to the same editorial standard as all other submissions. More details given at the event.
