Weird Weather: The Response by David Shukman

​Join David Shukman, former BBC Science Editor, and Theodore Keeping, wildfire & climate scientist at World Weather Attribution, Imperial College London, for a conversation around how climate change is reshaping our world through increasingly erratic and extreme weather, and how we can respond.

​David’s latest book, The Response: A Story of Fire and Flood in Britain’s New World of Extremes, is a gripping account of the new extremes that our bodies, buildings and landscapes now face in Britain and around the world, compiled through extensive interviews with experts, including researchers from Imperial. The discussion will explore themes from the book, notably wildfires, and the role of communication in driving climate action.

​David will also be signing books after the talks. Please note that books will not be available for purchase at the event, but copies of The Response can be bought in advance from selected stockists.
