FREE Artist Talk: Artist in Residence, Michael Krondl

​Join us Thursday, January 15th, with our artist in residence, Michael Krondl. A Czech-born, New York-based installation artist, Krondl is internationally recognized for large-scale photographic installations, immersive drawings, and site-responsive works that probe humanity's uneasy relationship with the natural world.

​During his month-long residency in Taos, Krondl will focus on a new body of large-scale drawings inspired by the region's ecological pressures and the human footprint on its landscapes. He is particularly interested in Taos as a site where the visceral and conceptual meet, and where environmental frailty is both historic and urgently contemporary.
