AGIV Shipyard — From chat to harness Volume 01
AGIV Shipyard is where the Ottawa AI community builds. Being around people who get it is how you stop procrastinating and actually open the laptop.
Pick a seat, pour a coffee, grab a snack, and work on your project, join a discussion, or jump into whatever's happening that night.
The value is proximity. Being around people who are building things makes you build things. That's the whole product.
What's on tonight
The title tells you. Tonight it's From chat to harness, a workshop with Matt Krainski (Head of AI & Engineering at Revoize):
Where you are on the agentic ladder — chat-and-paste, copilot, agent-in-the-loop, full delegation — what specifically breaks when you climb a rung, and then live: a real ticket becomes an open pull request with no one touching the editor.
It runs inside the regular co-hacking night. Join the workshop or keep building your own thing the whole night either way — no pitches, no pressure.
New here?
Beginners are welcome. Ask around the room and you'll find someone who's been exactly where you are.
Need a refresher? Watch What is co-hacking?
Co-hacking (it's just our word for co-working) in Ottawa was started by Neilda Gagné in spring '24. Say hi to any of us:

Venue rules
The community is growing fast, and Coworkly is good to us — let's keep the room worth showing up for. Three rules:
Respect the space. Keep it clean, don't touch what isn't ours, and leave other people's gear alone.
An organizer is always in the room. Stay as late as you like, as long as one of us is there. The organizer list lives in Discord.
Keep it friendly and semi-professional. Everyone here represents AGIV Builders; be the person you'd want to sit next to.
The fine print
