​Episode 2. New Rules in a New City.

​People say don't mix work and fun. I think that's wrong. The best professional relationships are personal ones.

​But most networking events aren't built for that - they're built for motion. You make your rounds, nobody sits down, and you leave having met a lot of people and gotten to know none of them.

​New Rules is my attempt to fix that. A card game night for founders, operators, and builders, and anyone trying to find their footing in the startup world. Not a panel. Not a pitch. Just a table, cards, and the right people in the room.

​Games give people a reason to talk, think, scheme, laugh. Whether you're a seasoned card-game enthusiast or completely new, all are welcome.

​About the host: Hi, I'm James! Born and raised in Malaysia, now leading growth at Propel in SF. Into photography, bouldering, and finding good food. I've always loved playing cards and creating spaces for people to meet. New Rules is what happens when those two things collide.
