Tempelhofer Feld walk: I want out of tech

​You're working in a startup or in VC and you've built a career that your childhood friends envy. On paper it's all great: you're earning well, you get to travel, you have cool colleagues and bragging rights. And yet, you're not satisfied.

​I've been there. I know what it's like to feel bad for not enjoying the things you're supposed to be enjoying. After sitting with that dissatisfaction for longer than I probably should have, I eventually left tech after 12 years to build something of my own.

​For me, the courage to actually make this switch started with conversations, with wondering out loud: what if I actually tried this or that?

​So now I want to create space for others to do the same.

Join me and a small group of people in the same boat for a walk across Tempelhofer Feld, to talk honestly about what's not working and to start imagining a life beyond where you are right now.

​I love the Feld, and if you live in Berlin, chances are you do too. It's expansive, quiet, full of inspiring weirdos, and there's something about that open space that makes it easier to think big. Also, the sunsets are 👌👌

​Schedule

• ​18:30 — Meet at the entrance (exact location shared after you register)

• ​18:40 — Start walking

• ​19:45 - 20:00 — Finish walk, depending on our pace

​If we feel like it, we can hang around on the Feld or go for food and drinks after.

❗ One important thing

​​I know this is the kind of topic people might want to keep private. So I'll only approve one person per company, so you don't end up walking next to a colleague.

About your host

I'm Andra, a career coach based in Berlin and I work with people in tech who are figuring out what's next.

I've always loved bringing people together and creating space for good conversations, so this walk is an excuse to do exactly that.
