​As part of GIVC Coffee Chat Week, Girls Into VC is bringing our community together for casual coffee chats across NYC, Boston, Philly, and Cape Town at the end of August.

​Join Girls Into VC Cape Town for our first Community Coffee Chat, a morning designed to bring together students, aspiring founders, early-career professionals, operators, and anyone curious about the world of venture capital and startups.

​This isn't a formal conference or a traditional networking event. It's a chance to grab a coffee, meet new people, ask questions, and have honest conversations about what it actually looks like to enter and build within South Africa's startup and investment ecosystem.

​Who is this for? You don't need to work in venture capital or have a startup. This event is for:

• ​University students and young professionals curious about the venture ecosystem

• ​Anyone who wants to meet others who are building and learning in the ecosystem

​Why we're doing this: Through conversations with students and early-career professionals across Cape Town, we've seen a clear interest in venture capital and entrepreneurship, but often a lack of accessible entry points into the ecosystem. Girls Into VC Cape Town is building a community where those first connections can happen.

​The Coffee Chat is designed to be exactly that: a first step. A first conversation with someone working in the industry. A first introduction to another aspiring founder.A first opportunity to ask the question you've been wondering about.

​And hopefully, the beginning of many more conversations.

Location: To be sent a week before the event, but it will be held in Cape Town
