Free Workshop: Improv Facilitator Training with Highwire Improv

​Want to become a stronger facilitator?
(Or if it's new to you, how to facilitate in the first place?)

​This event is free, open to anyone who wants to become a stronger improv exercise/game facilitator — whether you plan to use that as a team member, coach, workshop facilitator, or instructor.

​Learn about the most common improv facilitation pitfalls and how to avoid them. Learn how to make a safe learning environment, encourage community, and effectively cover content.

​You’ll learn some guidelines for running effective exercises, including:

• ​“Next, we’ll do X”

• ​“Show, don’t tell”

• ​“One focus”

• ​“Specify the order”

• ​“Reflections”.

​You’ll learn what these are, how to do them effectively, and most importantly WHY these are critical to effective facilitation.

​Everyone is invited, whether you’re just curious about how improv is taught, starting out with coaching, or have years of improv teaching experience. It’s a great chance to practice facilitation skills in a supportive space.
