Powering the Future: Critical Minerals & Supply Chain Resilience

As electrification, AI infrastructure, and decarbonization accelerate, critical minerals are becoming a foundational layer of the global economy — shaping energy systems, advanced manufacturing, and national security. Yet supply chains remain fragile, capital-intensive, and increasingly geopolitical.

This curated gathering brings together researchers, industry leaders, and investors to explore how the ecosystem is evolving — from energy metals like lithium and copper to rare earth elements, and from urban mining and recycling innovations to large-scale industrial deployment.

The program will feature focused discussions on:

  • Energy metals & supply chain resilience in the GenAI era — new sourcing models, recycling, and industrial scaling to meet surging AI and compute-driven demand

  • Rare earth elements & circular economy challenges — feasibility, economics, and implications for supply chain independence

Speakers and participants include representatives from Halliburton Labs, Stanford, Vectors VC, alongside leading founders, operators, and investors building across climate, materials, and industrial technologies.

Agenda

  • 2:50 – 3:10 PM — Check-in & Networking

  • 3:10 – 3:40 PM — Panel 1: Energy Metals & Supply Chain Resilience in the GenAI Era

  • 3:40 – 3:45 PM — Break

  • 3:45 – 4:15 PM — Panel 2: Rare Earth Elements & Circular Economy Challenges

  • 4:15 – 5:00 PM onward — Networking

Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Hosted at the Wilson Sonsini (WSGR) office in Palo Alto, this invite-only convening is designed to foster high-quality dialogue, meaningful connections, and cross-disciplinary insight across the critical minerals ecosystem.
