About the Event
We’re launching a new Venture Dock series: VC Roundtables-intimate conversations between founders and investors designed for honest, high-signal discussions about building venture-scale companies.
For our first session, we’re excited to welcome Anupam Rastogi, Managing Partner at Emergent Ventures.
The session will primarily be AMA-style, starting with a brief conversation where Anupam will share:
• His investment focus at Emergent Ventures
• How he evaluates early-stage startups
• Key patterns and trends he’s seeing in the market today
From there, we’ll open the room for an interactive Q&A with founders, allowing members to ask candid questions and learn directly from Anupam’s experience investing in and supporting early-stage companies.
The format is intentionally small, conversational, and founder-focused, which tends to lead to thoughtful discussions and meaningful engagement.
This session is exclusively for Venture Dock members and attendance will be limited to keep the conversation intimate.

Anupam Rastogi
Managing Partner, Emergent Ventures
Anupam Rastogi is Managing Partner at Emergent Ventures, the pre-eminent venture firm backing founders in the 0-to-1 journey of building category-defining Enterprise AI companies.
He has invested in the Enterprise AI ecosystem for over a decade, partnering with teams building across AI, infrastructure, deep tech, data, security, and developer tools.
A builder at heart and engineer by training, Anupam has led or played a substantive role in 20+ successful technology investments globally, resulting in multiple IPOs and acquisitions.
Earlier in his career he:
• Founded NX Partners, helping high-potential SaaS companies accelerate go-to-market and growth
• Held senior investing roles at NGP Capital, a global venture firm with $2B+ under management
• Built and launched multiple enterprise software and AI products
His operating career spans enterprise software, AI, and data analytics, where he launched four new products, built a Fortune 100 big data stack, and authored five international patents and publications.
Anupam holds:
• Computer Science degrees from IIT Delhi and UT Austin
• An MBA from The Wharton School
• Additional studies in Technology Commercialization at MIT
