Digital Independence Day - October 2026
Digital Independence Day is a chance to celebrate a more open, private, and user-controlled way of using technology. Come by for a relaxed gathering where we can try out, share ideas, and praise the tools and habits that help us stay in charge of our digital lives.
We will also highlight a few popular tools that fit the spirit of digital independence, from Signal for private messaging, to Firefox for browsing, to Nextcloud for files and collaboration, with extra love for open source options that give people more choice. Whether you are already deep into digital sovereignty or just curious about getting started, it is a great moment to connect, compare notes, and celebrate together.
