Portfolio Tips and Tricks: College Student Edition
C2C is excited to partner with Sustainability Creatives for the first Community Meet-up of the semester! Come by to meet other young people excited about climate careers and learn from our amazing speakers, Leah Mosier and Alexander Stratmoen. This session will be centered around portfolios: what they are, why they're important for getting hired in climate, how to make them, and how to make them good.
As a college student or a recent grad, sometimes it can be hard to tell your story - because you just started writing it! But in this job market, it's more important than ever to ensure that hiring managers are connecting with you. This is where having a killer portfolio can come in handy. A portfolio can help you stand out from the crowd, show off your personality, examples of your work, and the direction you are hoping to go in your career (pssst. don't worry, you don't have to have all the answers yet, you just need a clear intro pitch). No experience with portfolio design is necessary.

In this session, we will do a rapid review of 22 portfolios in 25 minutes 😮. Then we will have time for a live FAQ - ask us anything you would like about portfolio design!
