​Data center construction is driving unprecedented demand for copper, aluminum, steel, and specialty alloys — at a time when domestic supply is struggling to keep pace. Every year, more than $62 billion of e-waste materials and rare earth elements are sent to landfill, even as the gap between demand and domestic supply for these critical metals continues to widen.
