About Event

Join local artist Ian DeHoog for a relaxed sketch walk along False Creek, focusing on quickly capturing strong, simple shapes without getting overly frustrated with perspective. Ideal for anyone ready to loosen up, embrace a bit of chaos, and call it “style.”


Ian de Hoog is a Canadian artist and watercolour instructor based in British Columbia. An active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, he teaches at the Shadbolt Centre and leads workshops across the region. Ian is passionate about observational drawing and enjoys helping others capture place through urban sketching.
