Vibe Code Creative Projects with AI
Learn the workflow, not the tool.
This is a practical, 90-minute session on how to use AI as part of your creative process for music, visual art, writing, and other creative projects.
We’ll use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and creative AI tools, but this isn’t a product tutorial. The goal is to learn a repeatable way to take an idea, explore it, build something, experiment with different directions, and keep improving it.
You don’t need to be technical or an expert artist, but you have to be willing to experiment.
What you’ll learn
How to turn a rough creative idea into something you can work with
How to use AI for brainstorming without letting it take over the creative process
How to move from idea → experiment → create → refine
How to give AI better references, constraints, and creative direction
How to combine different tools across music, images, writing, and interactive projects
How to build small custom tools for your own creative process
What to do when the AI produces something generic, strange, or completely wrong
What can you build?
The same workflow can be used to create things like:
a custom music or beat-making tool
interactive visual art
album artwork and visual concepts
songwriting and lyric exploration tools
experimental instruments and sound generators
creative writing or storytelling tools
games and interactive experiences
personal creative assistants that remember your ideas and projects
How the lab works
Before the session, you’ll get access to a free short course you can watch on your own time. It will help you get the right AI and creative tools set up in advance, so we don’t spend the workshop installing software or creating accounts.
During the 90-minute lab, we’ll focus on one clear creative workflow, rather than trying to cover every AI tool.
You’ll see Elliott take a creative idea from rough concept to working experiment, including the prompts, references, decisions, mistakes, unexpected results, and improvements along the way.
There will also be time for you to experiment with your own idea and see where the tools take you.
By the end, you should have a better understanding of how to use AI as a creative collaborator without losing your own taste, judgment, or point of view.
