About the Speakers
Nicole Danesi leads media, strategic communications, and brand at CanadaHelps, the country’s largest online donation and fundraising platform, which has been used by nearly 5 million Canadians to give more than $3.4 billion to charities.
Victoria Leonhardt is the Senior Manager of the US & Canada Hub at GivingTuesday. Her role supports Community Campaign Leaders in the GivingTuesday movement, helping them collaborate, mobilize networks, and drive local impact. Before joining GivingTuesday in 2022, she coordinated the regional Give906 campaign at Grow & Lead: Community and Youth Development. With over a decade of nonprofit experience, she specializes in capacity building, strategic planning, civic engagement, and volunteer recruitment. Victoria holds a Marketing degree from Northern Michigan University, a Certified Nonprofit Professional credential, and is an alumna of the American Express Leadership Academy. She was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, and now resides in Marquette, MI. She is a member of Batchewana First Nation.
