This integrated experience allows participants to connect Lean concepts with real-world manufacturing practices at Toyota.

Course Overview

Step into the world of Lean Thinking at Toyota, the global benchmark for operational excellence. This one-day immersive experience combines a Toyota Cambridge Plant Tour with a hands-on Toy Car Flow Simulation Game, giving participants a practical introduction to Lean principles and how modern organizations integrate automation, data, and AI to improve performance.

During the visit and learning sessions, participants will observe and explore how Lean systems operate in practice:

• Autonomous robots supporting Just-in-Time material flow
Sensors and IoT systems monitoring processes in real time
AI analytics for predictive maintenance and waste detection
Human + machine collaboration for safety, quality, and efficiency

Participants will also gain practical insights through:

Hands-on simulation exercises
Real case studies from multiple industries
• Applying Lean + AI thinking to their own processes
