Hybrid NeuroArt Nexus with Dr. Choi: Utilizing Bio-sensor Feedback In Interactive Art
This is a hybrid event and the first of the EDGE NeuroArt Nexus speaker series to be hosted in person in Albany. The theme of this month's nexus is how we can use sensors to explore the intersection of technology and human experience. After the event there will be a chance to network with this interdisciplinary community!
This event will be live streamed from Albany, the Zoom link for those who wish to join us online is here.

Description of Talk
The Remembrance project is an ongoing series that includes Remembrance: Magma and Remembrance: Coral, and is currently expanding into its third installment, Remembrance: Passage. This interdisciplinary art project transforms data from dementia patients into poetry and visual data within a video game environment, which is then played through performances using brainwave sensors. In the current phase of Remembrance: Passage, I am developing customized bio-integrated brain sensors to further explore the intersection of technology and human experience.
