About Event

As part of the IGC Pop-Up Gallery series, I’m excited to present Rest Resistance, a solo exhibition by artist Bhavna Shivayogimath, on view from 26 September to 3 October 2025.

Join us and the artist for the opening night on Friday, 26 September 2025, from 18:00 to 22:00, featuring a South Indian take on the Curry Wurst and a live performance by Josephine Pia Wild.

Bhavna Shivayogimath is a South Asian filmmaker and visual artist whose practice moves between the poetic, the observational, and the occasionally absurd. In Rest Resistance, she explores the tensions and contradictions surrounding rest and productivity.

The evening will also feature a live performance by artist Josephine Pia Wild. Her music is like a breath held at dawn—intimate, expansive, and emotionally rich. Blending ethereal alt-pop with handpan-driven indie folk, her songs delve into silence, memory, and the quiet power of emotional truth.
