About Event

Experience an inspiring celebration of contemporary Indian art at Sculpture by the Sea, as Rajni and Pawan Luthra host a fireside conversation with acclaimed artists Niharika Hukku and Shovin Bhattacharjee.

This unique event offers an intimate glimpse into the minds and creative processes of two artists whose works captivate audiences worldwide.

Australia-based ceramicist Niharika Hukku transforms delicate porcelain into evocative, nature-inspired forms that blend Eastern aesthetics with Australian landscapes. Her intricate pieces invite reflection, capturing the subtle beauty of the natural world while telling stories that traverse cultures. In contrast, New Delhi’s Shovin Bhattacharjee challenges perceptions through bold installations and sculptural works crafted from metal, glass, and modern materials. His art explores the tensions between urban life, technology, and the environment, offering thought-provoking insights into contemporary society.

Together, their diverse practices illuminate the rich breadth of Indian creativity, from fragility to strength, tradition to innovation. This conversation will explore inspiration, technique, and the narratives that drive their practice, offering audiences a rare opportunity to engage directly with the artists.

Whether you are an art lover, collector, or simply curious about cultural dialogues through art, this fireside chat promises inspiration, insight, and a deeper appreciation of the universal power of creativity.
