Women, Wellness & the Law
Lincoln-Goldfinch Law, Hembree Bell Law, and Just Well invite you to a dinner conversation with women lawyers and judges on Women, Wellness & the Law.
Women lawyers are exhausted. And yet hundreds — if not thousands — of people depend on our well-being. So how are we really taking care of ourselves?
The gathering will open with two powerhouse voices in women’s health:
Lauren Colletti, FNP, Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified in Functional Medicine. Lauren is Clinical Director of the Functional Medicine Clinic at Alive and Well and Founder of Sol Women. With nearly 20 years in healthcare, she has helped thousands of women navigate hormonal shifts, thyroid and digestive issues, autoimmunity, fertility, menopause, and more.
Marci Ditzell, Exercise Physiologist and owner of Austin Longevity Clinic. Marci has coached women for more than 20 years and is on a mission to correct the misinformation women have been given about their health and longevity. She teaches that meal timing matters, cardio can backfire, and strength and high-intensity training — in less than 25 minutes a day — are the keys to lasting health.
Following their conversation, we’ll open the table to a discussion with judges and lawyers on how we can integrate health into our own lives and careers. We’re honored to be joined by:
Judge Maya Guerra Gamble, serving on the 459th District Court in Travis County. A graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School, she began her career in Child Protective Services cases and later practiced in whistleblower litigation. On the bench since 2018, she is known for her thoughtful leadership and commitment to justice.
Judge Betsy Lambeth, Judge of the 425th District Court in Williamson County since 2012, and the county’s first female district judge. With a background in family, juvenile, and civil law, she has also served as Local Administrative District Judge since 2016 and is recognized for her trailblazing role in the community.
Judge Sandra Avila Ramirez, Presiding Judge of the 98th District Court in Travis County. With more than 25 years of legal experience as a prosecutor, legal aid attorney, and criminal defense lawyer serving Spanish-speaking and underrepresented clients, she is known for her dedication to equity and access to justice.
We hope that this will be a semi-regular gathering to build community around integration and wellness.
