​​​Once a month, InnerMost hosts the InnerMost Mixer—an intimate gathering for therapists, psychiatrists, researchers, and medical professionals to connect, learn, and grow in community. Designed as a space for cross-disciplinary dialogue, the InnerMost Mixer welcomes those practicing or simply curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy and integrative mental health.

This month, we’re honored to welcome Julie Holland, MD. Dr. Holland is an author, psychiatrist, and leading voice in the field of psychedelic medicine. With over two decades of clinical experience, she is widely recognized for her work at the intersection of mental health, neuroscience, and consciousness exploration.

She was formerly a weekend attending physician at Bellevue Hospital’s Psych ER. While now a medical advisor to MAPS, she was a medical monitor for several clinical studies examining the efficacy of using MDMA-assisted psychotherapy or cannabis in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Dr. Holland sits on multiple scientific advisory boards of cannabis and psychedelic companies and is a member of the International Society for Substance Assisted Psychotherapy. She has authored several influential books, including her newest book, Good Chemistry: The Science of Connection, from Soul to Psychedelic.
