3D Printing Intro and Orientation

​Ever watched a 3D printer work and wondered how hard it really is? Answer: not very hard at all! You'll pick a model or create one of your own, learn how a slicer turns it into instructions a printer understands, and make a print on one of our filament printers.

​Are you a SynergyMill member who wants an orientation to the printers in the shop? This session is for you! We'll go over a couple of the printers available in the shop and give you a head start in making successful prints.

​Prints take a while, so that's when we walk the shop and answer questions. Prints fail sometimes, so we keep spares on hand: nobody goes home empty-handed.

​No experience needed. No complicated CAD, no math, no homework. You can bring your laptop, but we provide the computers and tech!
