âAgainst a backdrop of rising oil prices, interest in EVs is growing, particularly among commercial fleets. At the heart of the discussion: the essential role of connectivity. Today, EVs are much more than just a means of transportationâthey are connected platforms whose performance depends directly on the quality of the data and the systems that support them.
âDiscussions will cover both the challenges (connectivity, charging software, etc.) and the many opportunities: telematics, route and charging optimization, preventive maintenance, over-the-air (OTA) updates, communication during charging, and infrastructure sharing. We will also specifically address the electric transition in public transit, and how CMS must interact with an already complex operational ecosystem of transit operators, both to function and to optimize performance.
âOur guest experts:
âDaniel Breton, President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada, for a global and institutional perspective
âFoued Barouni, co-founder of Foresta, on charging management and infrastructure sharing
âDany BĂ©langer, Senior Project Manager and Managing Partner at CIMA+, will shed light on the need to integrate electric vehicle charging management systems, charging infrastructure, and the operational systems of transit operators.
âThe program will include short presentations, followed by a panel discussion, a Q&A session, an open mic for startups, and a networking session with drinks and bites.
âThe event will be in English and French.
