How to Invest in CyberDefense Tech
Join PBS and COREangels CyberDefense for an exclusive in person workshop about how to invest in cybersecurity and cyberdefense startups.
This session will equip aspiring business angels with the tools, frameworks, and mindset needed to identify, evaluate, and invest in early-stage companies building the next generation of cyber resilience, security infrastructure, and digital defense solutions.
Participants will work hands-on with the Angel Canvas for the cyberdefense landscape, from understanding threat-driven markets and regulatory pressure to assessing technical depth, founding teams, and go-to-market strategies unique to cybersecurity startups.
Participants will build a personalized cyber-focused investment strategy, aligned with their risk profile, expertise, and long-term objectives.
This session is ideal for:

• Active angels refining their thesis in cybersecurity and deep tech
• Successful entrepreneurs with security or tech backgrounds

Participants will also receive priority access to the syndicate deals, featuring early-stage startups operating in cybersecurity and cyberdefense.
The workshop is led by Thiago Vieira, a cybersecurity expert, lawyer, and digital forensics specialist. Since 2021, he has been active as an angel investor and ecosystem builder, supporting early-stage cybersecurity startups through acceleration programs, mentorship, and strategic investment.
