Stories of Collective Climate Action
From Hope to Action: A Morning of Art + Storytelling
Begin your day in an immersive space where art, stories, and collective imagination come alive. Join four inspiring climate leaders from around the world — Hong Hoang, Jeremy Orr, Liangyi Chang, and Sameera Chukkapalli Holmes — as they share powerful stories of resilience and action.
— it’s a co-created morning of connection and creativity. Together, we’ll:
✨Story Circles – Gather to share stories of climate, community, and courage
✨Echo Notes – Write your personal “Story of Light or Fight” on cards, then place them among the glowing paper lamps to become part of the art installation
✨Story Swaps – Exchange your card with someone new to spark unexpected connections and conversations
✨Light Together – Conclude by gathering around the "Echoes of Fight & Light" installation — sculptural lamps crafted from unfired paper clay using recycled paper, including shredded legal documents from environmental justice cases fought by Earthjustice. In this transformation, the remnants of advocacy — once words on paper fighting for environmental protection — become luminous vessels of collective hope.
Through storytelling, art, and playful participation, this gathering invites us to move from hope to action.
