RappAI's Inaugural Meet
RappAI
Fredericksburg's AI Community
Are you interested in Artificial Intelligence? Do you use it in your day to day life? Are you hesitant to start using it? Do you want to learn more about AI?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, swing by the first meeting of RappAI.
No keynote. No slides. Just a room full of people who are curious about or building with AI and want to talk about what's real, and what's noise.
The only requirement is that you bring a good attitude and a sense of curiosity.
This is for everyone in the Fredericksburg corridor: Quantico, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and everywhere in between. Defense professionals, tech workers, students, small business owners, and the genuinely curious. If AI is part of your work or you're just trying to figure out where it fits, you're in the right place.
Agenda:
6:30 PM: Doors open, introductions
6:40 PM: Welcome and framing (Fabio Garcia)
7:00 PM: Open discussion: What's actually working in AI right now?
7:40 PM: Wrap-up, what's next for RappAI
7:50 PM: Close
Light refreshments provided. Free to attend.
Location: Downtown Fredericksburg Library
1201 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Host: Fabio Garcia is a U.S. Marine Corps officer and MIT AI Accelerator fellow based in the Fredericksburg area. After using AI to solve practical problems in the defense sector, he believes the best way to learn about this technology is to talk about it with people who are using it. RappAI is his attempt to build that conversation locally.
RSVP to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 35.
